All things hair.

Lets start with what type of hair I have, blonde and medium length with absolute no volume. I wash my hair every other day due to being so oily. Here are a few products that I use;

I tend to use what ever Shampoo & Conditioner that is on offer but my three top ones are Lee Stafford Growth Treatments, Head and Shoulders Thick and Strong and John Freda ‘Go Blonder’.

I usually wash my hair and then shove a towel on my head and do my makeup, when I have completed that my hair is usually damp. I proceed using this staple item that I’m sure most people will remember using when they were little, it is the trusty Sweet Pear L’oreal tangle tamer! I spray this all over as my hair gets so knotty, I then put L’oreal Mythic Oil at the ends of my hair.

My hair is so dull and flat I add a bit more oomph using this Head and Shoulders Thickening treatment, this really is amazing, I separate my hair (when I can be bothered) and spray it four times around my head and then rub it in, it just gives me that extra boost and a bit more thickness added to the roots. Heat protection is a must and would never dry or straighten my hair without it one of my favourite ones and the current one I’m using is the Lee Stafford Argan Oil, I love this and really feel like it works.

I then go in with the hair dryer and go made, it really only takes me less than five minutes to dry my hair.

The day after washing my hair, my hair is so so greasy and this is where my trusty dry shampoos come in. I will admit the night before I put talc (baby powder) all over my head and rub it in, therefore I don’t have such a mission with greasy hair in the morning to deal with. Anyway back to the real stuff, dry shampoo has really changed my life and  mean really (sounds very sad), before it I use to wash my hair every single day and now I do not know how I use to do that. My all time favourite dry shampoo is of course the amazing Batiste, my favourite flavour being Cool & Crisp but to be fair any will do! It just soaks up all that oil and wahoo, let’s get on with the day!

Oh and how could I forget this little guy.. Tangle Teezer, If you don’t own one go and get one now!

What is your favourite hair product? Anyone else tried a better dry shampoo?!

    This post convinced me to buy dry shampoo! My hair gets greasy really fast and I need to wash it every day. I always thought it wouldn’t work for me but it’s definitely worth giving it a try! Xo

    I love my tangle teaser and dry shampoo. I am currently using COLAB dry shampoo in two different formulas…standard dry shampoo and the extreme volumising version. I have flat hair and the volumising version works amazingly well To make my hair look full. They don’t leave a residue either which is a bonus. 🙂

    I love Alterna’s Bamboo Cleanse Extend Translucent Dry Shampoo in Mango Cocnut. It not only smells like your on an island but it does not leave a powdery residue on the hair!

    Your hair sounds very similar to mine, will have to try some of these products, especially the thickening treatment!
