University and work has currently taken over my life, thats all I need to say to warrant my absence on the blog front, apologies.

Thought I’d give you a quick little update on my current make up, skincare and misc favourites.

Giorgio Armani Silk foundation in the shade 4, all beauty bloggers seem to rave about this foundation and now I see why. This sits perfectly on my skin not too heavy coverage but build-able. I managed to get 25% off the foundation at Selfridges just after christmas, it is pricey but worth every penny.

Urban Decay Naked Palette – Naked seems to be my go to shade at the moment, I haven’t been loving shimmer shades at all this year, just enjoying the matte look on the eye, it’s easy to apply and no blending needed, quick and simple. This colour is the perfect matte nude.

Mac Blusher in Spring Sheen, I got given this blusher as a christmas present and I am in love. It is a lighter version of Orgasm blusher by Nars, it is more subtle and gives the perfect hint of shimmer to your cheeks making you look healthy and have a glow.

Loreal glam bronze in golden bronze, I feel I haven’t given this product enough credit on my blog. I LOVE this bronzer, I have felt so pale and ‘meh’ this winter, this bronzer just gave me a hint of colour and a subtle with hardly any shimmer HOORAY, anyone that is scared of bronzers and are new to the makeup scene, this is a must have and very affordable.

Batiste dry shampoo in ‘cool & crisp’, I could not live without dry shampoo, I use this every other day to give my hair a boost. I have tried nearly every scent and have never really given this one a chance. The blue colour enticed me and oh my, this smells so clean and fresh, this one will be picked every time.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment, Shampoo & Conditioner. Well where do I start? This time last year I cut my hair short due to being damaged and looking pretty dead and crap, I have seen such a big difference since it has grown back and that is how thick it is, it feels soft and looks shiny, but recently I have struggled with length. It has seemed to come to a halt and quite frankly I am not happy about this. I had a look round boots and saw this range by Lee Stafford, I have used this for nearly 2 weeks and I actually think my hair is growing slightly (may be all psychological!) but I will carry on using all three until I’ve used it all up so fingers crossed.

Elemis face wash & toner, I recently went to Centre Parcs and had a spa day. All products that were used on me were Elemis and my lord they smelt incredible, as I walked out most of the products were on offer (how can you resist). As you know I suffer from oily skin and really struggle to find skin care that makes a difference, I bought the resurfacing duo that came with wash and toner. Firstly the wash smells incredible just like peaches and as for the toner the amazing smell of relaxing lavender, I honestly didn’t think It would help my skin but it has proven me wrong. My spots have reduced, rarely get them (touch wood) anymore and my oily (slick rick in the building) face has calmed and kept at bay.  Worth every penny!

Jo Malone candle in Incense & Embers, for christmas my mum bought me and my 2 sisters mini Jo Malone candles (my absolute favourite candles!) this smells incredible. Considering its a mini one it fills the whole room with a fresh relaxing smell, when finished the regular size will be bought.

Currently my favourite YouTube channel is Hannah Maggs, their weekly vlog is uploaded every sunday. It is the best edited vlog by fair, every week there’s something different to look out for and as for their little boy, he is the most scrumptious little thing on earth. Please go and show them your love!

The Walking Dead. Well what can I say about this, I am petrified of them bloody zombie’s, at one point I had to stop watching it before bed as I start to dream about getting eaten by the zombies but at the same time cannot get enough of the story line. Everytime I watch one I have to watch another 3, what am I going to do when it’s all over?

Who are your favourite YouTubers? Any recommendations on box sets to watch?

Anyone struggle to grow their hair past a certain point? Any suggestions that may work?

H xx

I really have been eyeing the Luminous Silk Foundation, how luminous is it?

    • February 28, 2015 / 7:28 am

Honestly not that luminous but gives off a subtle glow, but then again I powder a lot due to having oily skin!

Hmm I don’t need to powder so I wonder what it would look like. I don’t know if its worth it’s price tag.

I know what you mean! Try and get a tester? I only got it as it was on offer, but I bought dior airflash the other day and think it is miles better!
