Summer Essentials.

Summer Essentials.

Summer is here and people are starting to go on holiday, I go the end of next month but have been starting to think about what I need to get ready and buy! I thought I would show you what I will be taking with me on my travels and my 4 top make essentials! All these products I have bought or have found around my house.

Lets start with Hawaiian Tropic Hydration Face SPF 30, every year I arrive on holiday and completely forget to bring a face sunscreen and always ending up using the horrible oily ones. This year I am prepared and have bought this one, It’s oil free so shouldn’t break me out and make me even more oily than I am, it’s a very nice texture and smells lovely and of course is a high factor, which is very important.

Hair, I have blonde hair and try to keep it in the best condition I can (due to bleach), I always make sure I have a hair product to protect my hair from the sun and even when I come out the sea I will spray to all over my hair. I thought I would give this one ago Mark Hill Holiday Cover Up.

Korres Citrus Body Milk, I received this In my June Birchbox and am very excited to try this out. I thought it’s the perfect size to take on holiday with me and of course I will be taking an aftersun with me but thought this would smell and feel great on my sun kissed skin.

Well how can go on holiday without this little gem?! Of course I’m talking about the Batiste Dry Shampoo Coconut and Exotic Mini, I use this every other day so of course I will be taking one away with me.

& last but not least of course a sun cream, I picked the Ambre Solaire Golden Protect Shimmering Sun Protection SPF 20, I chose this one because it’s SHIMMERY, yes you heard. Apparently the shimmer is meant to help you tan more HOORAY,  I’m SO excited to use this and will let you know what I think of it after my holiday.

Every year I always end up bringing so much make up and hardly use any of it, due to the sun clearing my skin up and not wanting to cover my tan. Last year I used 2 of these products every day so I got these back out and thought I’d take 2 new products which I love also.

Lets start with the famous MAC Lipstick in Creme Cup, I wore this everyday on holiday last year, I couldn’t get enough of it and I guess it will happen again this year. It’s the perfect summer colour and looks perfect with a tan. May have to buy another one at the airport!

I have struggled to find a good mascara for a while and always chop and change, until I received Benefit They’re Real Mascara in my May Birchbox, wow I love this product. I don’t think I would ever pay £19.50 for it but this little one is perfect for holiday!

I tend not to take foundation with me due to my skin colour changing every day (more tanned) and my skin clears up so whats the point! I do need to hide those bags though and make me look more awake in the evenings. I took this one last year, Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer, I just feel that this concealer is a nice consistency and is light for the summer.

Why would you leave this fella at home?! Of course the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, all the summer colours you need In one palette, not much to say about this product as every loves this and it’s just perfect.

What are your favourite Summer Essentials?! Any recommendations?!

I go at the end of the month too! well the start of next month and my boyfriend is so unorganised he’s made me wait until the last minute to get all our ‘essentials’ which means tomorrow with it being pay day ill be making list on top of list for everything i need! I’ll definitely have to give the hair protection spray a spot on my list im a very natural light blonde so my hair gets ruined through the sun and heat on holiday i hope its gonna work like a charm!

I love all of your make up picks! Been super addicted to my naked 3 for the past couple of months as well! I usually like taking a facial mist with my as well, light and keep my skin feeling nice but not heavy 🙂 x

I love the Theyre Real mascara and all the Naked palettes! I have blonde hair too and try to be good to it because of the bleach. I avoid heat when I can too, but the best thing I’ve found for it is the Kenra Deep Conditioning Masque. It is a super thick conditioning masque that you leave on for ten minutes after shampooing and then rinse. I started to do it at least once a week and it’s made a huge difference on my dry ends. I also think it makes my hair shinier. I guess that’s more than just a summer favorite though!
