High End VS Drugstore | Pressed Powders.

Have trouble finding a good cheap pressed powder? Or do you prefer spending out on a luxury item?

Mac Studio Fix Powder in NC 20; this powder is my all time favourite, a foundation and powder in one, gives the perfect matte finish which is perfect for people who have oily skin. I use this over my foundation and it stays put all day. Some times I will touch up at lunch time but if I forget, my face looks the same when I get home. It works best when I use a BB creme as it gives my face that tiny bit more coverage I need. It is also good for setting my concealer under my eyes. This product is quite pricey at £21.50 but personally I feel is worth every penny.

On the other hand is Rimmel’s Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Transparent, this doesn’t have quite as much coverage as the Mac powder but personally still a very good powder. Again this lasts all day but think the Mac one has a better texture when it is put on the skin. Rimmel Stay Matte sits around my nose and my chin (the dry areas) and becomes patchy which is very annoying, also if you have oily skin it does keep the oil at bay. For the price I feel is overall a very good product pricing at £3.99.

Do you use these products? What would you like me to review next?

Totally agree with the MAC Studio Fix, I would recommend trying the MAC Mineralise Skin Finish as well, really lovely texture xx
