Monthly Favourites | May 2014.

End of May already? I do not know where this year is going, although this has probably been the most stressful of them all, uni deadlines, exam preparation, also trying to juggle work. Very stressful. This month I haven’t really got any makeup favourites due to not actually buying many this month (faint), but I have still got a few gems to share with you.

Lets start with hair, Head and Shoulders have just released their Think & Strong range, I jumped at this and went straight to buy them. My hair is thin but have lots of it but has a mind of its own and is always flat. This shampoo and condition has changed my life! My hair feels so much thicker and doesn’t go flat half way through the day. I normally get what ever Shampoo and Conditioner is on offer but think I’ll be sticking to this for quite a while!

These gorgeous orange roses were bought for me by a gorgeous friend of mine, they just brighten up my living room so I had to add them to my favourites, as they make me smile.

I bought the Crystal Glaze Barry M Nail Top Coat, I have been wearing this all month and it hardly chips, I love the glisten it gives off. I’m sure I’ll be trying it out with different colours underneath in June. To go with this I bought Bourjois Instant Dry this is my  friend is a life saver, I cannot sit and wait for my nails to dry at all, I’m so inpatient and always smudge them and get very angry. Just a drop of this product and ‘BAM’ your nails are dry. This is a genius product! Will never stop using this.

The Dior Pore Minimizer I mentioned in my first impressions blog (HERE) at the start of the month and have used it everyday since. I does exactly what is says on the packaging minimises thought bloomin’ pores of mine, I feel that when I use this I don’t need to use a heavy foundation (I usually use my Estee Lauder Double Wear). This is where my next favourite comes in, I heard that Estee Lauder were bringing out an Oily Skincare range at the end of April so popped in to get the Clear Difference Bb Creme in Light. This and the Dior primer go hand in hand and become the perfect light wear foundation. Although I feel that the Estee lauder Double Wear BB Glow  is a better, lighter consistency and has more coverage.

Someone say Jo Malone? I am in love with everything and anything Jo Malone. My mum actually bought this for me as a moving in present when I moved out last year, but only now started burning it as I can’t stand the thought of being without it. It smells so good, words cannot describe my love for this candle. This is my favourite scent from Jo Malone, ‘Pomegranate Noir’ it’s so fruity, fresh and makes the whole of my house smell amazing, my other favourite scent is ‘Blackberry and Bay.’

This month Rob and I have been loving the TV series Suits, my cousin suggested it to us and we really got into it. It’s about a Law firm, the main character Mike was in college to become a lawyer but got kicked out, started getting into selling drugs and by chance stumbles into an interview for Pearson Hardmen the law firm. You will have to watch it to find out more but the best bit its filmed in New York City. We have already nearly finished season 2, we can’t get enough of it!

I have not stopped watching Saccone Jolys this month, I love their little family, watching Edwardo and Emilia grow up and even better they are moving to London next weekend. They vlogged the house hunt, found the house they loved and it fell through, luckily found another house quickly, so excited to see their new home in London and watch them settle in.

What have you been loving this month?!

Hey do you think the Jo Malone candles are worth the more money you pay compared to a Yankee candle?

I love Yankee candles also my favourite being vanilla cupcake. But I feel Jo Malone candles burn for a longer time!
