Everyday Makeup Routine| Natural Look

I wake up and kick off the day with my morning skin care routine you can read here. I start off by using the Garnier BB Skin Perfector, it comes out a really thick consistency  but when you put it on the your skin it becomes really light and easy to blend in.

I blend it in using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush from the core collection, this brush is so good for buffing the product and evenly spread the product all over your face, not leaving it looking patchy. I’d been looking for a light foundation for a while and thought I would give this one ago, this is so good! It gives me that slight coverage I need and would definitely recommend it.

Freshly washed face.                                                          Garnier BB cream.

Next I need to sort those red bits around my nose and get rid of those eye bags, I do this by using Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer in Light. In this you get a face and an under eye concealer, I use the face one around my nose, on any red blemishes and blend that in using Real Techniques Detailer Brush in the core collection. This concealer is fantastic a friend (Click here for her blog) recommended it to me and it’s worth every penny, it covers up really well and does not budge throughout the day. For my under eye I use the famous Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in 01 Fair, it’s a really think consistency, but with lost of buffing and blending it gives you the perfect coverage, to do this I use my fingers and the Real Techniques Setting Brush, this product again does not budge!  I then set these products using my MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC 20 using the Real Techniques Powder Brush, I pat this product on to get the best coverage.

Eye brow time, I use Shu Uemura eye brow pencil in hard formula, 9 Seal Brown I just draw neat little lines so it look natural and tahdah done. I love this product, it is very subtle but really fills in my eye brows. Then I use Benefit Lemonade eye primer, this is definitely worth purchasing, my eye shadow stays all day and  sometimes just use this as an eyeshadow.

The bronzer I am currently using is Honey Bronze Bronzer in 03 Medium Matte from The Body Shop, I won’t touch on this product too much as I did mention this in my 10 top Body Shop Products here. All I can say it’s brilliant and I apply it with The Real Techniques Contour Brush.

Recently for blusher I have found a new discovery, in a Glossy Box  ages ago I got a cream blusher from Rimmel in Pop Of Pink. I’ve never been a fan of Cream blushers but wow, I love this one. It gives a subtle pink tint to your cheeks and I have got the hang of applying it YAY.

Time to get the Urban Decay Naked palette out, I only use one colour in this for my everyday makeup routine and that is Naked, the perfect subtle nude colour. It’s the 3rd colour in from the left. If you haven’t already got an Urban Decay Naked Palette you have to go and get one now!

At the moment I am loving the Telescopic Extra Black, but I’m sure it will change by the end of the month as I never stick to one mascara! The only problem with this one is I like to put mascara on my bottom lashes and by the end of the day it all comes off under my eyes, not a good look.

To finish everything off I use The Body Shop Lipstick 01 Cheeky Coral, this is a subtle coral colour and the with Nars Turkish Delight Lip Gloss they make the perfect match.

Finished Look ‘TahDah’

Do you ever define your brows Hannah? Would love to see them with a bit more definition through the tail and not so much in the head as this is already quite defined xx

If you’re in the market for a new mascara, you should try the L’Oreal Double Ended Tubes. One side is white, other end is red. It’s not waterproof, but kind of is. I LOVE it. This is the only mascara I’ve stuck with for over a year now.
